With her seasoned expertise and sharp analytical mind, she anticipates new trends and creates strategic plans for the future.
Pamela joined The Corcoran Group in her early 20s and in a single year became the top agent in her office, helping to cement the company’s growth downtown. From this success she continued to rise through Corcoran’s ranks, and was selected as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2000. She spearheaded the negotiations that resulted in the successful acquisition of The Corcoran Group by NRT, the largest real estate brokerage in the country. Pamela has made her mark at Corcoran by overseeing several major acquisitions, including prominent brokerages in Palm Beach and the Hamptons. She directed the acquisition of Citi-Habitats and the merger of The Sunshine Group and Corcoran Group Marketing to create new development powerhouse, Corcoran Sunshine, solidifying Corcoran’s leadership position in the industry.
A cornerstone of Pamela’s career is her ability to identify new markets and services in the future of real estate, and put the right steps in place to take Corcoran into those areas first. Under her direction, Corcoran Group Marketing was created to represent new construction projects from start to finish making Corcoran the first New York City real estate firm to establish its own new development division. Pamela grew Corcoran Group Marketing into an entity that produced billions in sales, redefining the way The Corcoran Group does business.
A nationally recognized market expert, Pamela is a popular lecturer throughout the city, and is frequently quoted in such leading news organizations as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, MSNBC, National Public Radio, and Bloomberg. In 2002, Crain’s New York recognized her as a rising star in their annual 40 under 40, and in 2009 named her one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in New York. She has been included more than once in the New York Observer’s 100 Most Powerful People in Real Estate and serves on numerous panels and committees, including REBNY's Executive Committee and its Board of Governors.
Pamela is very active in the community; she is a founding board member of the Wipe Out Leukemia Forever Foundation, a board member of the USS Intrepid Foundation, member of YPO and has been honored for her work for several organizations that empower and make life better for women and children. She spends her precious downtime enjoying the company of her husband and two daughters at their homes in New Jersey and Miami.
