Founder of Ziemelis Communications, Julie has 20 years of experience working in the real estate industry in PR/Marketing and events. Julie is passionate about helping REALTORS® understand the power of the social web by speaking, training and developing educational opportunities.

A REBarCamp junkie and real estate technology enthusiast, Julie developed REBarCamp Silicon Valley in 2009 and REBarCamp San Mateo in 2010. Julie has served as an Ambassador for Inman News at the 2011 San Francisco and 2012 New York events and enjoyed being a panelist at the Honolulu Agent REBoot event.

Julie is known for getting things done with an energy that leaves most people wondering if she needs to lay off of the caffeine. She writes two daily blogs on Facebook, “Tips for Realtors Using New Media” and “365 Things To Do in Kona” and blogs at JulieZiemelis.com and 365Kona.com. She currently provides training and consulting for REALTORS® in Hawaii on the effective use of social media channels, content marketing, analytics, productivity tools and relationship marketing.
