Mark started programming robots in high school, which then led to management positions with Sybase and Oracle. While at Oracle, he pioneered Object-oriented programming.

Mark went on to found STR Consultancy in 1992. Later, he spent three years involved in high tech turnarounds years prior to National Association of REALTORS®. He is now responsible for NAR’s technology center and is a frequent speaker at real estate and technology conferences.

He is a graduate of Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
