Darrin, founder and CEO of Maponics, has more than 14 years of mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) data experience with organizations such as Geographic Data Technology (now TeleAtlas/TomTom), Map Applications Inc. and Banyan Software. Darrin is a recognized innovator and leader in the GIS industry and a regular speaker at international conferences.

At Maponics, Darrin has assembled a team that has driven steady growth and product-line expansion in geographic data products including Neighborhoods, ZIP Codes, School Boundaries and more. Maponics counts many major brands as customers in industries ranging from real estate to social/mobile media, from local search to enterprise. Darrin continues to focus on establishing high-level partnerships and setting a course to enable Maponics customers to better serve their markets.

He holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree in physics from Binghamton University.
