Before joining The New York Times, Brian was the director, consumer research and insights for Time Warner business and financial properties including CNNMoney.com, Fortune.com, Money and Fortune magazines from 2007 to 2011. He also worked as senior custom research group manager for several Conde Nast titles, including The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Wired and Traveler from 2001 to 2007.
