Claire is a digital net native who was “infected” with the mobile Internet virus back in 2000. Educated as a civil engineer with an MSc degree from Delft University of Technology, she moved into the worlds of marketing (Unilever), mobile (KPN) and media (Talpa) after graduating.

After saying goodbye to the corporate world in 2006, Claire co-founded wintersport.blog.nl, Mobile Monday Amsterdam, SPRXmobile and Layar. Founded in 2009, Layar is the world’s leading platform for Augmented Reality. Claire has been listed one of the Most Influential Women in Technology and in Mobile. She was a Technology Pioneer at the World Economic Forum in Davos and was named “Online Media Woman of the Year”.

Claire loves to ski and dance. She is married and recently gave birth to her second child.
