Grier is the president and co-founder of BoomTown, the 18th fastest growing software company in the nation. Grier has over ten years of experience in both the real estate and software industries.

In 2002, Grier graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and began working as an in-house marketing and technology consultant for Prudential Carolina Real Estate, now known as Carolina One Real Estate. It was there that Grier first recognized a huge need for technology advancement in the real estate industry. At the time, listings were not advertised online and “online lead generation” was an unfamiliar term to most people.

In 2004, Grier co-founded Slant Media, a company that develops intuitive websites, web applications and web marketing campaigns for clients from various industries. During his years at Slant, he gained a clear understanding of what it takes to make the web really work for a business and decided it was time to apply this knowledge to the industry he knew best.

In 2006, Grier partnered with Cooper Bane and founded BoomTown, a real estate web marketing company based in Charleston, SC. Today, he serves as President and CEO, leading a team of innovative individuals who are shaping the future of Real Estate Technology.
