The following is a real estate technology roundup:
MSN Real Estate site jumps in Hitwise rankings
MSN Real Estate's realestate.msn.com Web site jumped up eight spots in May to 10th in the latest monthly ranking of real estate Web sites by metrics company Hitwise; Trulia.com joined the category's top-10 list for the first time moving from 11th place in April to eighth place in May; and Coldwell Banker Real Estate's ColdwellBanker.com site dropped five spots to 13th place in May.
Realtor.com sister site Move.com dropped from 15th in April to 18th place in May in the Hitwise rankings, which are based on the U.S. market share of visits to real estate category Web sites from a sample of 10 million U.S. Internet users. Realtor.com remained in first place with a 4.5 percent market share among real estate Web sites, followed by remax.com with a 2.52 percent market share and Yahoo's realestate.yahoo.com site with a 2.47 percent market share.
"Realtor.com" was the most popular search term that drove traffic to real estate sites during a four-week period ended May 31, followed by "remax," "zillow.com," and "real estate."
Houssee.com lifts off
Houssee.com, a Digg-like site that allows users to submit and vote for their favorite real estate blog items and news stories, passed the 100-user mark on Sunday, announced creator John Lockwood.
Lockwood, a real estate broker, is also the founder of ParticleWave.com, an Internet marketing company that offers services for real estate professionals and loan officers.
ForeclosureRadar founder launches blog
Sean O'Toole, founder of ForeclosureRadar.com, a site that offers information about foreclosure properties, has launched a community site and blog at ForeclosureTruth.com.
The site seeks to dispel foreclosure myths and to provide a forum for the "social, moral, financial and economic issues associated with foreclosures," according to a company announcement.

Forsalebyowner is number 1.... and every mls website is going down the ladder. Reason, because their own members who pay an ungodly fee to be a member advertise on the above FREE sites and dilute their own membership an organization... WHY?????????

Interesting stats, I'm glad that I advertise on all the sites that are up-and-coming, such as Trulia, MSN, Yahoo, Google, AOL, etc.

Any idea why Google Base doesn't make the Hitwise list?
Not enough traffic? Not classified as a real estate web site?
