It's well known that the top 50 MLS providers in the industry account for close to 90% of the listings. I found this to be true when handling all the IDX feeds for remax.com at eN. As to whether or not the 80 MLS providers that responded are part of that, I can check. I'd be surprised if they were not well represented. The actual title of the Survey was "MLS Leadership Survey", and was sent to the staff leadership position (EO/GM/CEO) at various MLSs. The survey was never intended to seek the opinions of agents and brokers. It was meant to get the opinions of the men and women running MLS organizations. I agree that it would very interesting to see where members and leadership match. This being CMLS' first survey of this type I am hoping next year we will see a larger response rate. That being said, I pretty sure that we got the opinions of the leaders responsible for 90% of all MLS listings in the country. That is impressive. Greg Robertson WRG Board Member CMLS
Great conference for anyone involved in the MLS industry. Casual atmoshpere, good content. CMLS is now in it's 51st year. I believe over 350 attendees are registered for the event.
