    I've been handling paperless transactions for almost 2 years. As others have commented, agents can be just as thorough in going through the contracts with clients by phone as in person (or working together in person with laptops). Technology certainly doesn't/shouldn't replace the relationship building aspect of the transaction (there are other opportunities where that will still happen not just during the transaction but hopefully continue after the transaction is complete). My clients really appreciate the ease and convenience of going paperless. Not only is the print quality better but the whole process is more efficient & organized in addition to the various environmental benefits. Cheryl A.     I'm in agreement with Toby; opens can be a great way to meet future clients. I work from S.F. to the Peninsula, areas which have hot pocket neighborhoods and limited inventory. My opens typically have at least 10-12 groups and with hot listings up to 30+ groups (which results in me just doing crowd control and not having an opportunity to connect with individuals). I recently had a listing appointment as a result of meeting a neighbor at an open! Cheryl A.
