I have seen action in a comatose market, bottom feeders are looking for the next bargain and desperate home sellers are welcoming the chance to see their property sold (finally) This new opportunity is present and the majority of the prospective buyers are coming from out of state and out of country. The area is now being named Southwest California and is growing rapidly. We are in an economic slowdown due to the residential crisis but that is starting to show signs of improvement. Commercial land in the Temecula, Murrieta and Southwest California area is reasonably priced and there is plenty available. In 2007 the new listing average list price was $304,747. Last week that number was $321,817. Sold average sales prices increased 28.16% to $336,786. In 2007 it was $262,782 for the same week.
