You do have an impressive line-up of speakers and panelests for this conference and, fortunately, I have recently had the opportunity to work with the folks over at Real Estate Tomato on our new web design for The Don Edam Group as well as some SEO & blogging training, but as a relatively new agent & blogger this leads me to wonder two things...
1.) Is this conference/workshop better suited for the novice or a more advanced blogger?
and
2.) What will I get out of the conference that I won't already get from training with the Tomato folks? (Perhaps I should direct this question to them since they'll be speaking at the conference as well???)
Thanks!

I had the same thought as Kelly. As a relatively new blogger, would it be beneficial for me to attend? Or is this better suited for a more advanced audience? I'm really anxious to learn more about blogging, and you do have an impressive line-up. I, like just about everyone else in the world, am a big fan of Teresa Boardman. I'd love to hear your feedback!

I certainly can't speak for anyone else, but I'm hoping with my panel to cover topics that will help BOTH the novice and more advanced blogger. Realize that won't be an easy task in 45 minutes.
I'll be at the entire Inman event though, and would be *more* than happy to meet one-on-one or in a small group with anyone who wants to discuss any aspect of real estate blogging.
As with any conference, I think much of the learning happens "in the hallways", and is what you make of it. There is a lot of real estate blogging experience in that list. I'm honored to have met almost all of them personally and I know they are are willing to share with anyone from the sub-entry level to those with doctorates in Blogology.

I went to the Inman Connect in NYC this past January, just a few months after signing up with the Real Estate Tomato. I was a total novice at blogging when I attended and didn't know a soul. To all you realtors out there - it was the single best conference I ever attended. It gave me the motivation to get my blog off the ground and it's been a huge success for my business.
If you possibly can go, do so. You will learn tons more than you get at the NAR National convention (which I've attended 3 times) or our regional realtor conference called Triple Play. No matter what level you are at, there is plenty to learn, great speakers & panelists and lots of networking opportunities. It was just plain fantastic!
I can't get to SF but I'll be in NYC if they offer it again in '09.

I can say from attending Connect NYC that the information available was applicable to all levels of blogging. I thought the panelists did a good job of understanding the needs of the audience and geared their presentations accordingly.
If you need more in-depth or advanced stuff: everyone I met in the hallways was extremely generous with their time and thoughts.
